This work was made during a residency at Nkd in Norway, in response to my thoughts and feelings about 'nature' (flourishing) in that place at the time, vis a vis human activities in the world, in general.
A statement on the quick disappearance of nature, especially in my very well polluted Nigeria, in as much as we are still a developing country. Even though this idea was developed in Europe, it addresses a Nigerian issue. Even as an under-developed country, how much carbon do we emit into the environment?
Animal skin superimposed with undisturbed nature; Synthetic material fast encroaching upon nature.
Nature is all the time forcefully synthesised, to suit man. Only about one-quarter of our fresh, clean, safe, and healthy nature remains to be overtaken by the ‘city’. How long will it be before everything becomes synthesized?
